About NESA Marking Broker

The NESA Marking Broker is a backend service used by the NESA Marking Report Chrome Extension.

Its primary purposes are:

• Handling Google Sign-in to verify NSW Department of Education staff credentials.
• Providing the necessary marking keys and guidelines to the extension.
• Securely receiving and processing problem reports from teachers, relaying them to a private GitHub repository.

This broker itself does not store or process student responses directly. All student response processing is done locally within the Chrome extension installed on your computer.
